- **Event Description**: The Parasol Patrol is proud to support Lakewood's Inaugural Pride! 
We will be present to welcome families to The All-Ages events with our colorful rainbow umbrellas and warm smiles.

Our overall mission is to use umbrellas to create a peaceful visual barrier from hateful signs, slurs, and intimidation, while calmly escorting families into the event. For little ones, we also provide noise-canceling ear protection to soften the shouting and bullhorns that often target inclusive community gatherings.

We are seeking volunteers to come show the community who we are in numbers!

No confrontation. No engaging protesters. Just steady presence, bright umbrellas, and a community showing kids they are deeply loved.
Parasol Patrol is not there for the protesters. We are there because every child deserves to enter with dignity, joy, and safety.
