The Karma House is a nonprofit kava bar and community hub located in Lakewood, Colorado. We are dedicated to fostering connection, creativity, and holistic wellness through conscious events, local art, and shared space.
Kava — a traditional plant medicine — is at the heart of our community. Made from the root of the Piper methysticum plant, kava has been used ceremonially for thousands of years across the Pacific Islands, particularly in Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, and Hawai‘i. It’s known for its calming, heart-opening properties that help bring people together in grounded, intentional connection.
We honor and respect the Indigenous cultures and caretakers who have carried the wisdom of kava for generations.
