The Great Backyard Bird Count

Join Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in celebrating the ornithological event of the season—the Great Backyard Bird Count—on February 14 from 9am to 1pm. Enjoy a fun, family-friendly morning featuring tabling by the Richmond Audubon Society and Riverine Master Naturalists, bird-themed LEGO activities with Bricks4Kidz, and the chance to meet feathered animal ambassadors from the Wildlife Center of Virginia. Two visual artists Charlotte B. Heath and Ron Navroski will also be on site sharing ornithology-inspired work, along with guided birding tours throughout the event.
