This professional learning session provides an overview of California’s special education reporting cycles and helps participants understand how data entered at the LEA and student level connect to state reporting, monitoring, and program decisions.Participants will explore key reporting areas—including CALPADS, SEIS, discipline and behavioral emergency reporting, LRE, preschool/DRDP data, disability categories, and personnel reporting—and clarify who is responsible, what is reported, when it is reported, and where the information comes from.
