Discover the art of leather craft with Master craftsman ​G​ene Kirkendall in this engaging, hands-on  ​2-day workshop to create, shape, texture and color leather feathers.

Leather tooling is a creative skill that allows you to customize and decorate leather projects. In this​ workshop you’ll dive into this beautiful technique of designing & making feathers using leatherworking tools, carving,  and coloring​. When you complete the workshop you'll have a good understanding of the technique of leather feathers and a fabulous set of feathers .

Under ​G​ene's expert eye, you’ll learn to work with essential tools like the swivel ​knife, bevelers, shaders and colors while exploring this specialized technique .
This workshop is suited for all skill levels whether you’re brand new to leatherworking or looking to brush up on new skills.

Tools will be provided during the class, but if you have your own, feel free to bring them along! Come ready to learn, create, and be inspired.
