You are invited to attend Responding to Addiction, a comprehensive training designed to increase knowledge about addiction and develop skills and strategies to help your community.

Please join us on Thursday, February 19th (6pm-8:00pm) at Springfield Assembly of God.

Created by Addiction Policy Forum, the Responding to Addiction training is sponsored by Tyler's Redemption Place through a grant from the Summit County ADM Board.

Like CPR, the training program is designed to build the skills to support and respond to someone who needs help. The training will also help participants navigate the resources available in their own community.

Participants will learn:

The Science of Addiction
The Signs and Symptoms of Addiction
Evidence-based Treatment Options
Medications to Treat Addiction
Engagement strategies

Tyler's Redemption Place (home of Hope United) is a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) in Summit County. This RCO that offers hope to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder through recovery and support group meetings, events, life skills classes, and other activities focused on the mind, body, spirit in a community setting.

Additionally, Tyler's Redemption Place provides free non-clinical recovery peer support and family peer support as a Drop-In Center six days a week.
