The Hollingsworth Winds will present its fall concert, Through Music – Let It Shine, on Monday, October 20 at 7:30 PM in Branscomb Auditorium at Florida Southern College. Admission is free and open to the public.
This performance will feature guest conductors Tyler Arcari and Larry Clark, joining conductor Mr. Wansley and the ensemble for a program centered on light, reflection, and expression through wind band music.
The program includes Flourish for Wind Band by R. Vaughan Williams, Let the Amen Sound by Travis J. Cross, Cloudscapes by Tyler Arcari, A Simple Sound at Sunrise by Robert W. Smith, Bright Light in the World by Carol Brittin Chambers, Festive Dances by Robert Thurston, Hope Lies in Dreams by Larry Clark, and The Melody Shop by Karl King.
Founded in 2003 by Frank Howes and Dr. J Jossim, the Hollingsworth Winds is committed to presenting high-quality wind literature and engaging the community through thoughtful and accessible programming.
