- **Event Description**: The Garden Club of Lake Zurich is planning its upcoming meeting, Tuesday February 3rd at 6:30 pm where we will host a one hour, free program: "Reducing Climate Change by Composting".  Our guest speaker will be Rolfe Jaremus who has been gardening for 60+ years and composting for 45. Rolfe has a family farm in Iroquois growing a large organic vegetable garden along with fruit and nut trees. He will discuss how backyard composting and recycling organic waste creates tremendously rich gardening material and can, at the same time, reduce CO2 emissions. Rolfe will discuss how to build a compost bin and his recommended by-yearly composting cycle.

We are conveniently located at the Lake Zurich Ela Library - room A.  Come join us for this informative program and feel free to stay for refreshments which are served afterwards. Club business meeting follows. Guests are always welcome.
