Discernment Training

Join us for an in-person session focused on sharpening your discernment skills! This fun and interactive training will help you learn how to better serve individuals in vulnerable situations. In order to love those God has entrusted in our care, it’s essential to know how to engage with wisdom, compassion, and healthy boundaries. This Discernment Training was originally designed for volunteers with Lighthouse Housing Alliance, partnering with Hope Housing. We’re excited to now extend it to all Hope Center Service Leaders and their volunteers! Together, we’ll explore practical tools to help us assess needs without enabling, offer hope while empowering responsibility, and navigate complex situations with clarity and care. Whether you're new to leading or have years of experience, this training will equip you to lead with discernment and grace.
