After an electric Halloween Block Party, weâre lighting up J Street once again bigger, brighter, bolder. This will be the first annual "Mardi Glow J Street Block Party" giving you another yearly event and night of your life to look forward to!
J Street Magic: electronic jam-band heat, DJ switchovers, Mardi Gras masks and neon, pop-up performances, and street-party moments that feel straight off a concert poster. Early evening paints the block for families; late night turns up for the young adults and young-at-heart!
Come party with Pomona, Propaganda, and the whole krewes (google it), because itâs time to celebrate Mardi Gras on J Street & Lake Ave. LWB style!

What is and why Mardi Glow?
Mardi Gras = âFat Tuesday!"
Itâs known as and created for the final day of feasting and celebration. The idea is to enjoy rich foods, parties, parades, and a masquerade before a period of fasting & discipline. So make this your last night before making some life changes or your perfect reason to rage after your busy week! We shall extend and carry on the traditions of parades, masks, beads, doubloons, costumes, and king cake! Purple = justice, Green = faith, Gold = power and this party equals fun! Come celebrate with your friends and family right here on the J Street Block in DTLWB!
