A reminder that Friends and Fans and Stewards of the Lake Worth Little Free Libraries project are invited to attend this meeting to restructure the organization. We have some decisions to make together regarding the future of our project. We have basically two options:
1. Continue as a community wide project more or less as we have always been with one major change ~ Much more community engagement with committed volunteers in place to handle specific areas of management. I will be engaged in the transition to help smooth the way for new volunteers, but after that I will be stepping way back. 

2. Sunset the organization as it is and allow existing Stewards to continue or not under their own individual financial and book acquisition efforts. This is the model that the Little Free Libraries worldwide organization has always maintained. Stewards are fully responsible for their own libraries, books and repairs. 

Clearly, I would much prefer option one. To make that happen we need a minimum of 10-12 people willing to serve in supervisory roles for the different categories necessary to maintain the current community wide project. We will also need 25-30 additional volunteers to serve the separate categories. There is enough variety of volunteer positions to accommodate those volunteers who can give anywhere from a couple hours every month to a couple hours 3-4 times a week. All of these categories will be spelled out in more detail at the meeting. For example, Building, Book acquisition, Public events and more. 

The Friends of the Lake Worth Library is considering an overall administrative role for L:WLFL 2.0 depending on the number of committed volunteers who step forward as we begin this process. 

So my dear friends and fans of the Lake Worth Little Free Library project, I know you all must have lots of questions. Please bring your questions to the meeting on Saturday and hopefully we will figure out the answers together.
