Vet Fest is a community-driven celebration dedicated to honoring and supporting our nation’s Veterans while bringing together families, friends, and neighbors from across Lake County. Hosted by Triple Bravo Initiative in partnership with VFW Post 4308, this family-friendly event offers an afternoon of connection, entertainment, and appreciation for those who have served.
Taking place on Saturday, May 2, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Vet Fest will transform the Lake Villa VFW into a welcoming space where Veterans, Veteran families, and supporters can gather to enjoy food, music, games, and meaningful engagement with local Veteran non-profit organizations.
Supporting Veterans in Our Community
At its core, Vet Fest is about support, awareness, and community. Veteran non-profit organizations from across Lake County, Illinois will be on site to share information about their missions, available resources, and ways they serve Veterans and their families. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the people behind these organizations, learn about Veteran services, and discover how they can get involved or offer support.
Food, Music, and Family Fun
Vet Fest offers something for everyone. Guests can enjoy:
Food and drinks available throughout the event
Live music and a DJ, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere
Outdoor and lawn games, including bags/cornhole and a horseshoe pit
Bounce attractions and activities for kids, making this a truly family-friendly event
With plenty of space to relax, socialize, and enjoy the day, Vet Fest is designed for all ages and backgrounds.
A Community United
Whether you are a Veteran, a family member, or a supporter, Vet Fest is an opportunity to come together in gratitude and solidarity. It celebrates service, strengthens community bonds, and highlights the importance of supporting Veterans long after their service ends.
There is no better way to spend a spring afternoon than enjoying good food, great music, and meaningful connections—all while supporting the men and women who have served our country.
Join us on May 2 in Lake Villa and be part of a community that proudly stands behind its Veterans.
