If you were lucky enough to experience our "Shoalhaven Food Network - Chef's Of The Shoalhaven" event at Bollerang House last year you'll know the calibre of food and talent that will be on show this time round. 

A celebration of Italian culinary excellence is coming to Willinga Park as acclaimed chef Giovanni Pilu brings his signature Sardinian flair to the Shoalhaven for a spectacular long lunch as part of the Autumn Celebration of Food presented by the Shoalhaven Food Network. Known for his renowned Sydney restaurants Pilu at Freshwater and Flaminia, Chef Giovanni will collaborate with talented Shoalhaven chefs to create a specially curated menu showcasing seasonal local produce and authentic Italian flavours with a contemporary twist.

Alongside Giovanni is renowned Chef Eugenio Maiale with a long history in restaurants and now from Italia Pasta Fresca in Torrensville (Adelaide), transforming the 1975 institution into a modern neighbourhood pasta shop and weekend dining destination.

The event will also highlight the future of the region’s hospitality industry, with graduates from the Shoalhaven Food Network’s Gaining Through Training program working alongside Chef Gionvanni and Eugenio and their team in the lead-up to and during the event. This unique opportunity gives emerging chefs real-world experience at a premium culinary event while strengthening collaboration within the Shoalhaven hospitality community.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Willinga Park, guests will enjoy an unforgettable long lunch surrounded by stunning gardens, sculptures and coastal landscapes. As a signature event of the Autumn Celebration of Food, it’s the perfect chance to experience world-class cuisine in one of the Shoalhaven’s most remarkable destinations — and for those wanting to make a weekend of it, the luxurious Willinga Park Pavilions offer the ideal place to stay and soak up the experience.
