Black Male Educator Learning Lab

The Black Male Educator Learning Lab (BMELL) Convening will be held July 29-30, 2025, at the Marriott Birmingham, located at 3590 Grandview Parkway, Birmingham, AL.

Tentative Events include:

July 29 – BMELL Welcome Mixer
Kick off the convening with good food and fellowship. The BMELL Mixer is your chance to network, reconnect, and build relationships with fellow educators in a relaxed, in-person setting.

July 30 – BMELL Professional Learning Summit
Get ready for a full day of learning, inspiration, and leadership development. Engage in interactive sessions and thought-provoking panel discussions focused on teaching, learning, and elevating leadership. Attendees will have the opportunity to begin study on one (1) APLDS-approved PLU.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your network, your knowledge, and your impact!
