Artist Talk: Sara Star

A 2025 graduate of the Milan Art Institute and part of the New Light art movement, November's Stairwell Gallery artist Sara Star draws influence from Dimitra Milan, Leonora Carrington, Vincent van Gogh, and Frida Kahlo.

Star will give an artist talk on Sunday, December 7, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Oswego Library, sharing insights into the New Light art movement, her process and inspirations. A livestream will also be available at https://www.youtube.com/LakeOLib/streams

Enchanting Worlds will be on view throughout December, in the Library’s Stairwell Gallery, at 706 Fourth Street, Lake Oswego. Admission is free and open to all. Learn more about the artist at sarastar.com
