Capital Project Vote

After several years of discussion and research with district architects, the Hadley-Luzerne Central School District Board of Education is proposing a no-frills capital project to replace 80% of the roofs at both the Junior/Senior High School and Stuart M. Townsend Elementary School, remove and replace a fuel tank at the Junior/Senior High School, and replace boilers at the Elementary School. These critical infrastructure items are well past the end of their useful lives and will be replaced with energy efficient solutions that will position the district well for decades to come.

Voting for the capital project will take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Stuart M. Townsend Elementary School.
