Blaggards

Blaggards (pronounced BLA-guards or BLA-gherds) have been redefining "Stout Irish Rock" since 2004. Hailing from Houston, Texas, they serve up a high-octane blend of traditional Irish music and pure Rock n’ Roll. Imagine the grit of Johnny Cash and Black Sabbath meeting the spirit of Thin Lizzy, often drawing comparisons to Flogging Molly and The Pogues.
​With their 2021 album BLAGMATIC and a heavy-hitting 2022 cover of “Come Out Ye Black & Tans,” the band continues to prove why they are a mainstay on the national and international stage. The lineup features Dublin-born frontman Patrick Devlin, bassist Chad Smalley, and powerhouse drummer Kevin “Turbo” Newton.
