Join us for a winter evening of fun as Camp Wilderness opens its gates to the public for Cosmic Sledding on Saturday, February 21, from 4:00 to 8:30 PM. Families from Park Rapids, Bemidji, Nevis, Menahga, and surrounding communities are invited to enjoy sledding under the lasers and lights for a memorable outdoor experience.
The evening includes 4+ hours of sledding along with dinner (hot dogs, chips, juice) and hot chocolate and s’mores! The Dining Hall will remain open throughout the event as a warming house with hot chocolate available. Guests may arrive anytime after 4:00 PM and are welcome to depart at any point during the event.
The camp's location is north of Park Rapids off the Lake George Road (near Emmaville) at 29984 Journey Trail, Park Rapids, MN.
Important Information:
Sledders must be at least 6 years old and 42 inches tall. One person is allowed per tube, and skis and snowboards are not permitted. Please dress for the weather with warm layers, winter boots, gloves, and snow pants. Helmets are recommended but not provided. Tickets may be purchased online in advance or onsite.
