# Event Details - **Event Name**: Wisconsin State Pickleball Championship - The Dink Minor League Pickleball - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 31 May, 2025 at 12:00 pm – Sun, 01 Jun, 2025 at 06:00 pm - **Event Description**: Hey everyone! We are excited to be hosting The Dink Minor League Pickleball Wisconsin State Championship. With this amazing event, comes even bigger prizes and more prize money for DUPR 18 and DUPR 20. The first place team in each division receives an automatic bid to DUPR Nationals. If you want a fast track to qualify, this event is your opportunity to do it! Prize money is continuing and bigger than ever! Instead of increasing by $125 for every team registered, the prize money pool will increase by $200 for every team registered. This means at 8 teams when prize money was normal $1,000 it will now be $1,600. 12 teams would have been $1,500 but now will be $2,400! AND DUPR 18 and 20 have nationals bids on the line as well! Below is the tentative tournament schedule. The days of each division will not change, but tournament start times are subject to change based on registration volume. Saturday May 31st Noon to 9pm DUPR 18 50+ Noon to 9pm DUPR 16 Noon to 9pm DUPR 20 NEW! Noon to 9pm DUPR 14 Sunday June 1st: 8am to 5pm DUPR 18 8am to 5pm DUPR 16 50+ Please see the rules for maximum DUPR aggregates and single player maximums for each division. FORMAT Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MLPlay™ format: MLPlay™ is an ingenious gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. In the MLPlay™ format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.
