We will meet in Tent 2 at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest. We will assemble CareBoxes and learn more about CarePortal.

Did you know the easiest way to help families in need is through CarePortal. CarePortal in not a ministry, it is a platform that equips ministries of the Church to be at the point of care when families need help. It is becoming the number one way Churches can collectively assist families in crisis and prevent collapse.

This training will cover the basics and logistics of what it means to be a responder on CarePortal and how to use the platform to connect with families. It will also include a trauma informed approach in how we should serve these families in a way that promotes felt safety and shows them Jesus through every interaction.
