She has published short stories on Tor.com, and in the anthologies Cornered, What to Read in the Rain, and Kisses & Curses. Her first book, Hold Me Closer, Necromancer, was an ALA Best Book for Young Adults title, a Morris Award finalist, and the winner of the Scandiuzzi Children's Book Award. Lish is a former indie bookseller, has a MFA from the University of New Orleans, and prefers pie to cake. While she has no long-term goals for world domination, she would like her own castle.Martha Brockenbrough is the author of 25 books for young readers, including At the Edge of Lost. She founded an MFA program in writing for young readers at the University of San Francisco, where she works as its director.Tara Goedjen writes dark, atmospheric thrillers, and has lived and worked all over the world. A former academic, she holds a Master of Fine Arts and a PhD, and was also a fiction editor at a publishing house in Sydney, Australia before moving to the Pacific Northwest.
