Third Place Books welcomes authors Demi Winters and Tessonja Odette to our Lake Forest Park store for a joint book launch! In Dawn of the North, the latest book in Demi's Ashen series, prodigal heir Silla returns to restore peace to the kingdom while her sister, held captive on a distant island, fights to come home. Tessonja Odette's The Lies that Summon the Night transports readers to a world where creative work is forbidden and immortal royals feast on the blood of human artists. Demi and Tessonja will be joined in conversation by Princess of Blood author and friend of the store Sarah Hawley. Tickets are required in advance.

What you need to know:

Tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite. Pre-ordering the featured book will not grant you access to the event.
Tickets include 1) $6 General Admission, 2) Book-bundle with Dawn of the North, and 3) Book-bundle with The Lies that Summon the Night.
If you purchase a book-bundled ticket but are unable to attend the event, your book will be placed on hold at our Lake Forest Park store. You may request to have your book transferred to our Ravenna or Seward Park neighborhood stores.
Please note we cannot guarantee signed copies will be available to ticket holders who do not attend the event.
Copies of Dawn of the North, The Lies that Summon the Night, and other books by Demi and Tessonja will be available for purchase at the store. This event will include a public signing and time for audience Q&A. Sustain our author series by purchasing a copy of the featured book in advance!
 
About Dawn of the North. . .
A new age begins in the Kingdom of Íseldur in this sizzling third installment of the Viking-inspired Ashen romantasy the series.

Sarah Hawley is the author of Servant of Earth, Princess of Blood, A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon, A Demon's Guide to Wooing a Witch, and A Werewolf's Guide to Seducing a Vampire. She has a master's degree in archaeology and has excavated at an Inca site in Chile, a Bronze Age palace in Turkey, and a medieval abbey in England. When not dreaming up whimsical love stories, she can be found reading, dancing, or cuddling her two cats.
