They will choose from the instructor's Norwegian wood block collection and a variety of permanent paint colors to create a one of a kind accessory. In addition to block printing on sheepskin, they will learn three stitches typically used in the Norwegian art of Skinnfell. Participants should have hand strength to stitch through layers of sheepskin, a small jewelry pliers helps with this.Material fee includes: sheepskin, leather needle, thread, printed handout, use of blocks, paints, etc in classStudent should bring:Clear plastic quilting rulerPencilSmall, sharp scissorsEyeglasses, if neededOptional but very useful: leather thimble, small jewelry pliers, metal clips
