Art Under the Oak: Easter
March 29, 2026 | 12–3 PM
Imperial Calcasieu Museum
Celebrate spring at the Imperial Calcasieu Museum during Art Under the Oak: Easter, a cheerful afternoon filled with art, creativity, and family fun.
Our very good friend, the Easter Rabbit, will be hopping by for visits as the museum grounds come alive with an outdoor art market beneath the Historic Sallier Oak, featuring local artists, artisans, and authors. Guests can enjoy lunch from one featured food truck along with multiple dessert vendors, making it an easy and festive stop for the whole family.
Admission to the museum during the event is FREE, so be sure to step inside and explore the Calcasieu Parish School Board Student Art Exhibit. This bright and colorful showcase highlights artwork from students in grades K–12 and celebrates the creativity of young artists from across our community.
Inside the history wing, the museum will transform into a Spring Carnival filled with games and hands-on activities for all ages. Each carnival booth will be hosted and operated by a featured local small business or nonprofit, giving guests the opportunity to have fun while learning more about the organizations that help make our community thrive.
While visiting, guests are invited to learn more about the Sallier Sapling ReTree Program, which supports the legacy of the Historic Sallier Oak, as well as explore museum membership opportunities and the benefits of becoming part of the ICM family.
🎨 Festival admission is free.
🎟️ A small fee applies for a carnival bracelet, which provides access to carnival games and activities. Bracelets are $3 each.
