During this workshop we will focus on the 5 skills of literacy as outline by the world famous method Jolly Phonics.
1)Learning the letter sounds - using actions for each sound
2) Learning letter formation - including hands-on activities
3) Blending (skill used in reading) - using movements & crafts
4) Identifying sounds in words (skill used in writing) - recycling materials
5) Tricky words (learning these high frequency pesky words using mnemonics and memory boosters)
