Lämpimästi tervetuloa Lahti Jazz Clubin kevätkauden avajaisiin!

Ympäri maailmaa jazzlegendojen, kuten Arturo Sandovalin, Tony Williamsin, Toots Thielemansin ja Al Jarreaun kanssa esiintynyt, maailman pianovirtuoosien eliittiin kuuluva Grammy-voittaja ja ”jazzpianon Horowitz” Marian Petrescu on kasannut ympärilleen uuden trion ja suuntaa nyt esiintymislavoille. 

Ohjelmisto pitää sisällään materiaalia, jota Petrescun esikuvat kuten Oscar Peterson ja Art Tatum ovat esittäneet. Henkeäsalpaavaa pianotyöskentelyä säestää monista suomalaisista jazzyhtyeistä tuttu komppipari Joonas Tuuri ja Ville Luukkonen. Viime vuosina yhteistyöstään muun muassa Antti Sarpilan ja Olli Soikkelin kanssa tunnetun Marianin pitelemätön energia pääsee parhaiten oikeuksiinsa triokokoonpanossa, jossa hän voi ilmaista itseään koko kapasiteettinsa leveydeltä - rytmisektion tukiessa hienostuneesti.
