- **Event Description**: Discover the calming, meditative art of mandala-making while working with vibrant glass on natural stone. In this hands-on class, you’ll design and create your own stunning glass mandala on a rock - perfect as a decorative piece for your home or garden.

You’ll begin by learning how to safely use tile nippers to shape colorful glass pieces, allowing you to create curves, points, and custom forms that bring your design to life. From there, you’ll explore the fundamentals of mandala design, including symmetry, pattern repetition, and radial balance, as you map out your composition directly onto your stone.

Once your design is in place, you’ll learn how to properly adhere each piece to your rock, building your mandala layer by layer. The final step is grouting your piece, where you’ll see your design truly come together, enhancing contrast, unifying the surface, and giving your artwork a polished, finished look.

Price

$125.00 per student. The cost is fully inclusive of all materials.

This class can accommodate a maximum of 10 students and requires a minimum of 2 to go forward. Bring a friend!
