Through Hedy’s guided instruction, you’ll experiment with blending techniques, brushwork, layering, and soft-edge transitions while gaining a better understanding of how colors interact with one another. Using acrylic paint, each student will create their own small-scale color field painting inspired by Rothko’s signature style, focusing on composition, harmony, and personal expression.

Perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike, this class offers a relaxing and inspiring introduction to abstract painting while encouraging experimentation and confidence with color.

Age Restrictions: This class is suitable for Ages 10+. Children aged under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. 
Skill Requirements: All skill levels welcome!
A minimum of 4 sign-ups is required for the class to go forward. Invite your friends!
