- **Event Description**: Come get your hands muddy and explore the art of handbuilding with local artist Tessa Mansour! 

Join us for a relaxed handbuilding class held outdoors on our Main Deck beneath the eucalyptus grove. Surrounded by dappled light and fresh air, guests will learn foundational handbuilding techniques while creating their own sweet-inspired pottery, think pastries, confections, and dessert forms translated into clay.

Tessa will guide participants step-by-step through shaping, refining, and adding playful details to their piece, making this class welcoming for beginners while still inspiring for those with prior clay experience. This class is an opportunity to slow down, get your hands dirty, and turn a favorite treat into a lasting ceramic keepsake!

Tessa will handle the glazing process for you, and you’ll get to choose your glaze color. If you’d like additional pieces to be fired, that’s available for a small extra fee. Tessa will coordinate with you for pick up/shipping.


Price
$105.00 per student. The cost includes materials, firing, glazing, and one finished piece. There will be an additional charge if you wish your item(s) to be mailed.

Class Requirements
Age Restrictions: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Skill Requirements: All skill levels welcome!

This class can accommodate a maximum of 6 students and requires a minimum of 2 to proceed. Bring a friend!
Closed-toe shoes and casual, comfortable clothing are recommended. Aprons will be provided.
