In the heart of Matogbun Community High School and Community Primary School David Camp,  underserved areas where access to technology is limited, something remarkable has begun—the EDUMEND INITIATIVE for the Girl Child. This project is not just a dream; it is now a reality!  

For the first time, our girl students have started learning about computers and laptops—understanding the basics of computer systems, how to "turn it on and shut it down", the types of operating systems and the word processing softwares.

This foundational training is being conducted using Microsoft Office equipping them with essential digital skills that will shape their future.  

The excitement in the school is unmatched! The students, their parents and even the supporting teachers are overjoyed to witness this transformation.

However, the computers used for this training were borrowed—from colleagues, friends, and family members—just to make it happen.  

For this initiative to be sustained and expanded, we need computers. We are not asking for money; we are calling on individuals, organizations, and well-meaning supporters to donate laptops or desktop computers, either used or brand new.  

A single computer donation can change the life of a girl child forever. If you or your organization can help, please reach out.

Together, we can bridge the digital divide and empower these young minds for a brighter future.  

We especially call on @Microsoft, Dell, @HP, @Lenovo, @Google, @IBM, @highlight FIBE Tech Nest and @UNESCO @Teach for Nigeria to support this cause. Let’s make digital literacy accessible to all!
