Tippecanoe Celebration of Recovery Rally (TCORR) aims to bring people in long-term recovery from substance use and/or mental health together annually in September (National Recovery Month) with their families and the community at large. This celebration strives to promote the idea that recovery is possible and people in recovery are assets to their community; thus reducing stigma uniting the many splintered recovery communities of Lafayette and showing people who still struggle that there is hope.
It is TCORR’s mission is to unite people in or seeking long-term recovery their families city officials law enforcement and the community at large annually at a rally in the month of September. Through the assistance of local business owners and treatment providers we will strive to create a fun family-friendly welcoming event that may find the Tippecanoe community coming together to exhibit oneness and wellness. We will provide a wide array of opportunities for those who have had personal victories over the battles that accompany substance abuse to share their recovery and dispel the mythology and negative stigma around substance use disorder. This rally will offer an annual venue for recovering people their families and the community to find themselves acting as one with those they love lifting a voice for recovery and promoting advocacy for those in need.
