Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo is coming to Columbian Park Zoo on Saturday, December 6, 2025! This year's event is presented by: IBEW Local 668 Real Journeymen Electricians. This festive event will be held from 9:00am-5:00pm. Children and their families will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and meet his reindeer (Santa's reindeer will be available for visits from 10:00am-4:00pm)! Attendees MUST ARRIVE during their ticketed time frame, but once you have entered the venue, you are welcome to stay as long as you like to enjoy all of the fun activities!
Attendees will enjoy a free cookie (while supplies last), holiday craft station, a presentation of animal artifacts by our very own elves of the Zoo Education Department, as well as have an opportunity to take a photo with the big man himself! Santa's sleigh will also be available for photos. At our letter-writing station, children can write a letter for Santa to take back to the North Pole. The Columbian Park Polar Express train will be running, weather permitting (the Columbian Park Express train is unable to run during rain or snow events, or during extremely low temperatures). Hot chocolate and other festive treats and gifts will be available for purchase at the event.
As of Friday, November 7 at 8:00am, ticket sales will be open to the public for $8 each online. Children ages two years and under are free.
Columbian Park Zoo is dedicated to providing children and families with an opportunity to celebrate the holidays in a safe and fun environment. Reindeer Rendezvous will be BURSTING with decorations, music, photo stops, as well as fun educational opportunities.
Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo is a fundraiser for the Lafayette Parks Foundation. All proceeds benefit the Columbian Park Zoo and are used to fund capital improvements, various Zoo projects, and educational programs. Thank you for your support of this annual fundraising event!
