Help protect your pet with permanent identification! The Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center (LASCC) is hosting a low-cost microchip clinic on Saturday, February 7, from 2–4 PM at 410 N. Dugas Rd., Lafayette, LA.
This clinic is open to the public and welcomes dogs and cats.
Event details:
• Microchips: $15 per pet
• Includes lifetime registration
• Payment accepted: cash or credit cards only
Most lost pets are found within just 1–3 miles of their home. A microchip provides a reliable, permanent way to reunite pets with their families if they go missing. LASCC scans every pet upon intake, and veterinary clinics will scan found pets at no cost.
This clinic is part of LASCC’s quarterly microchip clinic series, making it easier year-round for pet owners to take this important step.
Already have a microchip? You can check it for free at one of Lafayette’s microchip scanning stations, including the station at LASCC. View all locations here:
