2026 Palm Sunday Mass

You are invited to enter into Holy Week with the Church on Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. Bishop Douglas Deshotel warmly invites the faithful of the Diocese to gather in prayer as we commemorate the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem and begin the solemn journey toward His Passion, Death, and Resurrection. Please contact your local parish for Mass times, or join us at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, where the bishop will serve as celebrant.


🌿 The Blessing of the Palms will begin at 10:50 AM on the plaza

⛪ Holy Mass will follow at 11:00 AM inside the Cathedral
