- **Event Description**: It's BACK!  The OLS Gala is returning! Join us on September 19th,  2026 at 5:30pm at J & S Supper Club Hwy 8 Ladysmith.  This promises to be the "bee's knees!"  Come and learn more about our school and gather with old and new friends. We have a 1920's night at the speakeasy evening planned.  (1920's era attire encouraged but not required.) Your ticket includes an elegant evening with dinner and dancing to Debbie Briggs 5-piece vintage jazz band from the Twin Cities.  We will also have raffles and auction items available to bid on to support our school. Special themed drinks and an area for photos will be available. Treat yourself and a loved one to an exceptional night out and make some memories. It won't be a "flat tire" it will be the "real McCoy" Tickets on sale now, adults only.  Tickets are $75 each and will benefit our school and the future of our students. OLS ~ where faith and knowledge come together.

Twin Cities vocalist, Debbie Briggs is best known for her rich, powerful, vocals, and soul stirring interpretations of beloved jazz standards from the 1920s - 1960s. 
With fresh takes on old tunes, she playfully transports modern audiences of all ages finding common ground in today's world of varied music tastes, blending "crooner-like" vocal stylings with subtle cross-genre influences. The result is something that feels simultaneously timeless yet altogether new. Debbie Briggs has been a featured vocalist at Twin Cities Jazz Fest, The MN State Fair, The Minneapolis Institute of Art, Crooners, The Mall of America Swing Dance series, multiple local and regional tours and festivals, as well as countless stages and venues across the Midwest. Debbie is thrilled to bring her combo to Ladysmith WI and will be joined by guitarist, Tim Kirchhof upright bassist, Matt Blake, Sam Skavnak on sax and clarinet, and Tim Zhorne on drums.
