This class will teach skills on how to tie fishing knots, how to rig a rod and reel, casting, and the general basics to nearshore fishing. Kids from ages 6 to adults are welcome, so come out to Bass Pro Shops and enjoy the class! You must RSVP to attend.Note: Due to the recent injunction pausing exempted fishing permits for red snapper, this class will now primarily go over nearshore and general bottom fishing with a brief update on red snapper. Details for the event:• What to bring: Dress is casual. Check the weather report and dress appropriately. You will be inside. Other items to consider bringing include snacks and a reusable water bottle. It is always helpful to have a notebook handy to take notes.• Costs: The class is free of charge.• Weather: Classes are held rain or shine unless hazardous weather occurs (like a hurricane).• Parking: Just follow the signs and park in the parking lot.
