Demonstrated proficiency is required before using any equipment independently at Lacey MakerSpace. Individuals are welcome to take multiple Basics classes until they feel confident starting their own projects. For more in-depth, project-based instruction, we also offer workshops and one-on-one mentoring.In this hands-on welding class, we will cover introductory methods for MIG welding two pieces of steel together. Students will leave class with a custom welded nameplate.As with all Basics classes, this offering is free for LMS members. While not required, we appreciate donations in any amount to help cover consumable costs. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian present at all times (Please visit our policies page for the Minor Use Policy and Waiver).-----------------------------LMS has a $10 no-show fee for LMS members who don't show up for the classes they sign up for. These fees will be charged to the card we have on file. This fee is being implemented due to a pattern of members not showing up to our classes.
