Controlled by a computer (CNC), it moves with high accuracy to create complex shapes, intricate designs, or surface markings. In this BASICS course attendees will learn how to use LightBurn Software to engrave and cut a coaster using the Laser Cutter.This Basics series class is one to one and a half hours long and cover basic safety and operations of tool and equipment instruction. Successful completion of this course will qualify members to use the laser engravers independently at LMS. For more in-depth project based hands-on instruction, we offer workshops and one-on-one mentoring.Basic classes are always free for makerspace members.
