This will provide all the information needed to be certified on using the Brother Embroidery Machine at the Lacey MakerSpace. For more in-depth project based hands-on instruction, we offer workshops and one-on-one mentoring.Basic classes are always free for MakerSpace members. Individuals are welcome to sign up for multiple Basics classes until they feel confident on the equipment.What you will learn:How to thread the machineHow to hoop fabric and adjust the machine for different sizesStabilizing fabricsHow to embroider a design with the touch screen interfaceTo learn more about turning your images into stitchable files with Floriani or Ink/Stitch software look for courses on the embroidery software in a separate BASICS class.There is a $10 no-show fee for LMS members who don't show up for the classes they sign up for. These fees will be charged to the card we have on file. This fee is being instituted because we have had a pattern of members not showing up to our classes.
