# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Grandmother Moon Ceremony
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 07 Nov, 2025 at 05:00 pm
- **Event Description**: ? November Grandmother Moon Ceremony ?

A reminder that this ceremony is for ALL women — whether you’re on your Moon time or not, in every stage of life.

Please wear your skirts and bring:

-A feast bag and a dish to pass
-Your hair bundle in a red cloth
-Asemaa in a yellow cloth
-give away items if you choose to do so

If you’re able, pitch-ins for firewood or a small gift for our firekeeper are always appreciated — but remember, you are all that’s truly needed.

This is a space for us to come together as women — to learn, support each other, release what no longer serves us, and reclaim our ceremonies in community.

✨ About Hair Bundles:
Many have asked about this teaching, so here’s what I was taught:
Our hair is sacred. It carries our energy, memories, and essence — what makes us us. We care for it, protect it, and as mothers, we also look after our families’ hair.

Some women in my family trim their hair around the full moon. During Grandmother Moon ceremony, we gather the hair we’ve saved — from trimmings, combing, or washing — and bundle it in red cloth before placing it in the fire at the end of ceremony.

It’s a way to honor release, gratitude, and renewal. ❤️
