- **Event Description**: Dust off those zills and get ready to take them to the next level with this Intermediate series! Mondays, September 8-29 (no class September 1st - Labor Day). 

Finger cymbals are so much more than an afterthought added in to movement or something that you do seated. They are a force of nature and one of my favorite bellydance props! This month we will cymbal away while dancing, covering not only 3's and the maksoum, but many other rhythms and patterns! 

My goal for this course is to not only review American, Middle Eastern, and Turkish rhythms such as Malfouf, Karsilama, 4's, 5's and syncopated drills, but to even have the class "be the band" and have a zill-off while performing combos! You'll need to be present to participate, and at least one year of experience in belly dance and finger cymbal work is recommended before taking this class.
