10/18/26 - Depart from your home country and fly to Lima, Peru. Most international flights arrive late in the evening. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our staff, assisted with your luggage, and transferred just steps away to your comfortable airport hotel. Bottled water will be provided as a welcome gesture. Settle in and rest after your international journey—tomorrow the adventure begins as you head to Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

Meals: Dinner on your own (usually served on the plane
Hotel: Wyndham Costa del Sol Airport

10/19/26 - After breakfast, take a short walk to the terminal for your flight to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and lead you on a journey into the Sacred Valley. Your first stop is Zurite, where vast agricultural terraces climb the steep valley walls. This impressive site was not only an Inca farming center but also an experimental station where they perfected irrigation systems and studied crop adaptation at different altitudes. The terraces are still in use today, preserving centuries-old engineering techniques. Continue to Quillarumiyoc, known as the Moon Temple, an important ceremonial site dedicated to lunar worship and fertility. Here, you’ll see finely carved stone niches, ceremonial platforms, and sacred rock formations. Your guide will share the fascinating history of how this temple was used for astronomical observations, agricultural ceremonies, and offerings to the moon goddess. Check in at your Homestay and relax as you acclimatize to the altitude. Join us for a welcome drink around an outside fire as a local chef prepares your dinner.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: HomeStay Hacienda del Rio

10/20/26 - After a refreshing rest, begin the day with a guided visit to the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, where pink
granite temples, ceremonial baths, and breathtaking terraces reflect the ingenuity of Inca engineering. Following lunch, transfer to Vertical Sky Luxury Suites, an extraordinary lodge perched on the cliffs of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy coca tea and a brief orientation before beginning a short trek up to the lodge. As you ascend, the beauty of the valley unfolds: carpets of green farmland stretch along the Urubamba River, while snowcapped peaks—including the majestic Veronica Mountain (Sacred Tears) —rise dramatically above. Along the way, stop at the organic garden, where Andean herbs and vegetables grow in harmony with the land. From the glass-domed lounge and restaurant, you’ll enjoy sweeping vistas of the valley—fields stitched with ancient terraces, shimmering rivers carving their way through the canyon, and condors gliding on the thermals above. The play of light and shadow over the mountains creates a scene that changes with every passing hour. In the afternoon, adventure awaits: scale the Via Ferrata, cross suspension bridges, rappel down sheer rock faces, and feel the exhilaration of flying over the valley on the zipline. This blend of adrenaline and awe is framed by some of the most dramatic natural scenery in the Andes. As the day winds down, savor a gourmet dinner at the Kuntur Restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling windows offer a front-row seat to the fiery Andean sunset. Later, retreat to your suspended sky suite—your glass walled room floating high above the valley—for an unforgettable night beneath a canopy of stars.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Vertical Sky Suites

10/21/26 - This morning begins with a short boat crossing over the Urubamba River to reach a sacred site on the opposite bank. Here, surrounded by the sounds of flowing water and the towering Andes, you will take part in a traditional Despacho Andean ceremony led by a shaman. In this ancient ritual, gratitude is offered to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus, the mountain spirits. Through prayer, coca leaves, and offerings, you’ll experience a moving connection to the land and its people—a spiritual tradition passed down through generations of the Andes. Following this ceremony, continue your journey to Moray, one of the most intriguing Inca archaeological sites. Circular terraces descend deep into the earth like an amphitheater, each ring creating its own unique microclimate. As you walk along the site, the panoramic views of the Sacred Valley unfold—rolling farmland, snowcapped peaks, and open skies that shift constantly with the mountain light. It is said the Incas used Moray as an agricultural laboratory, a place where science and spirituality met in harmony with nature. In the afternoon, visit the Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling mosaic of thousands of salt pools that cascade down the mountainside. Fed by a natural mineral spring, these pools have been harvested since Inca times. The
stark white salt pans shimmer against the red mountains and blue sky, creating a surreal and unforgettable landscape. Here, ancient tradition lives on as local families continue to mine salt by hand, just as their ancestors did centuries ago. End the day with a delicious Andean lunch before returning to your Homestay in Ollantaytambo, with time to reflect on the day’s balance of sacred ritual and breathtaking natural beauty.

10/22/26 - Inca Trail Hikers:
Today’s journey immerses you in the rugged beauty of the Andes. After an early train ride along the rushing Urubamba River, begin your trek at Km 104. The path climbs gradually through lush cloud forest, where orchids cling to moss-covered stones and hummingbirds dart between wildflowers. Along the way, discover ancient stone ruins, terraced hillsides, and waterfalls tumbling down the cliffs. The highlight of the trek is Wiñay Wayna (“Forever Young”), an exquisite Inca site perched on the mountainside. Its sweeping terraces cascade into the valley below, framed by towering peaks draped in mist. Continue to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), where—weather permitting—you’ll be rewarded with your first unforgettable glimpse of Machu Picchu, bathed in golden afternoon light and framed by rugged green mountains. After soaking in the view, descend into Aguas Calientes to reunite with the rest of your group.

Train Travelers:
For those taking the scenic route, enjoy a relaxed morning before boarding the Vistadome train. Large panoramic windows reveal dramatic views: the Urubamba River winding through gorges, forested hillsides rising steeply from the tracks, and snowy peaks piercing the horizon. This journey offers a peaceful
introduction to the “eyebrow of the jungle,” where Andean highlands blend into tropical forest. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, check into your hotel, stroll the charming streets, or visit the Machu Picchu Museum before meeting the hikers. The day concludes with a hearty dinner in town, the anticipation of tomorrow’s visit to Machu Picchu filling the air.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Gringo Bill's

10/23/26 - After a peaceful night in Aguas Calientes, rise early for one of the great highlights of your journey: Machu Picchu. Take the bus up the winding mountain road and step through the gates of this extraordinary World Wonder. Your expert guide will lead a 2–3 hour exploration through the citadel, revealing its temples, plazas, terraces, and sacred stones. You’ll learn how the Incas aligned structures with the sun and mountains, and how Machu Picchu was not only a city but also a spiritual sanctuary. As morning mists drift away, the site reveals its full grandeur, with Huayna Picchu peak rising like a guardian behind the ruins. After your tour, take time for quiet reflection or photography, letting the majesty of the Andes leave a lasting impression. By midday, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes and board the train back through the Urubamba Valley. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, a private driver will take you to Chinchero, a weaving community known for its vibrant textiles and living traditions. Here, artisans will demonstrate how they shear alpaca, spin wool, use natural dyes from plants and insects, and weave intricate patterns that tell ancestral stories. It’s also a perfect opportunity for thoughtful shopping, directly supporting local families. Finally, continue to Cusco, the former Inca capital, and check into your boutique hotel. This evening is free to enjoy a world-class dinner or stroll the cobbled streets as live Andean music drifts through the plazas.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Hotel: Quinta San Blas

10/24/26 - Today you will experience both the rich history of Cusco and a meaningful connection with the local community.
Begin with a guided walking tour through the heart of Cusco. Visit bustling artisan markets, the magnificent colonial Cathedral, and Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), the spiritual center of the Inca Empire. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Andean lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore Cusco’s surrounding archaeological sites:
Saqsayhuaman – an awe-inspiring fortress of massive stone terraces overlooking Cusco.
Qenko – a sacred site with zig-zag stone carvings and underground chambers.
Puka Pukara – a red-stone fortress that once guarded access to Cusco.
Tambomachay – the ceremonial “Baths of the Incas,” dedicated to the element of water.
Later, your journey takes a heartfelt turn with a visit to Path of the Heart, a children’s soup kitchen in Cusco that provides hot, nourishing meals to over 100 schoolchildren every day. Here you’ll witness firsthand the impact of this grassroots initiative—sharing time with the children, helping serve meals, and learning how the program supports education and community well-being.

10/25/26 - Your final morning in Cusco is yours to savor at your own pace. After breakfast at the hotel, take some time to wander the cobblestone streets of the historic center, browse artisan boutiques, or simply relax with a coffee in the Plaza de Armas as the city stirs to life around you. For those who wish, optional visits can include the ChocoMuseo, where you can learn about Peru’s cacao heritage (and even try your hand at making artisanal chocolate), or the bohemian neighborhood of San Blas, filled with artists’ studios, craft shops, and sweeping views of the city rooftops and surrounding mountains. Your guide will also provide a ticket that grants access to select local attractions—so you can choose what inspires you most on this final day. Lunch is on your own, allowing you the chance to enjoy a last taste of Peruvian cuisine—perhaps ceviche,
lomo saltado, or a hearty quinoa soup. In the evening, gather with your group for a special farewell dinner in Cusco. Celebrate your journey together, reflecting on the landscapes, history, and connections that have made this trip so memorable.
