On September 6, 2026, runners from across the country will gather once again at the breathtaking trails of Hungduan, Ifugao for one of the most historic and challenging mountain races in the Philippines.

The Last Stand of Yamashita Trail Run returns — taking you deep into the legendary routes connected to General Tomoyuki Yamashita’s final stand before his surrender in Kiangan in 1945. More than just a race, this is a journey through heritage, culture, endurance, and the untamed beauty of the Cordilleras.
Traverse rugged mountain ridges, pine forests, mossy trails, ancient rice terraces, river crossings, and steep ascents leading to the majestic Mt. Napulawan (2,642 MASL) — the highest peak of Hungduan — with panoramic views of Mt. Pulag, Mt. Amuyao, and Mt. Polis.
