We believe in participation for all, positive competition and building character. We teach fundamentals and traditions of the game, champion sportsmanship and encourage family and community support. 

The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department offers the following for youth players:
T-Ball (ages 5-6)
Rookie (Machine Pitch) Baseball (ages 7-8)
Pitch Perfect (Machine Pitch) Softball (ages 7-9)
Minor Baseball (ages 9-10)
Minor Fastpitch Softball (ages 9-10)
Major Baseball (ages 11-12)
Major Fastpitch Softball (ages 11-12)
Junior Baseball (ages 13-15)
Junior Fastpitch Softball (ages 13-15)
Senior Slowpitch Softball (ages 13-17 *18-year-old high school students accepted)
Tennis (ages 4 through adult)

Register in person at the Civic Auditorium January 20 or 22, 2026 or register online by visiting www.laporteparkandrec.com. Pricing dependent on program and division. Divisions determined by participants age on or before April 30, 2026. All players must provide birth certificate at registration or by email. More information regarding leagues can be found online at www.laporteparkandrec.com.
