- **Event Name**: Make It on Main
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 11:00 am (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: Grab your girlfriends and come Make It on Main! Join us Saturday, October 17 for an entire day of creativity, community, and small-town charm on Main Street in La Porte, Texas.

Inspired by the hobbies our grandmothers loved, Make It on Main is a curated Main Street experience filled with hands-on classes, shopping, good food, and a little something sweet. You'll spend the day strolling from one local business to the next, learning new skills and making something to take home along the way.

Your ticket includes:
* 2.5 hour sewing class at And Sew It Began
* 1-hour Succulent class at The Bonny Bluebird Co-op
* 1-hour Cookie decorating at Books by the Bay
And a sweet treat of your choice from Texacone Snowcones and Ice Cream

All class supplies are included and full class description can be found under our "Discussions" tab on the Facebook group page!

We'll kick off at Main Street Station at 11am for check-in and lunch. Lunch is purchased separately, so order whatever sounds good and get to know your fellow makers before we head out for the afternoon.
Throughout the day, we've intentionally built in time to stroll, shop, and explore Main Street, because Make It on Main is about more than crafting—it's about slowing down, trying something new, supporting local businesses, and making memories together.
