We have resources to help you rebuild. In previous meetings, we have had many questions about video surveillance in centers regarding safeguarding staff and families. None of the video companies has responded to SMART's request as of May 26, 2026, but we are still trying to form an information panel. At the August meeting, we will review a draft of feedback to Child Care Regulation in regard to updating Texas Child Care Minimum Standards - specifically in relation to the use of technology, and the rising physical implications of challenging behavior in the post-COVID classroom. Breakfast snacks, coffee, door prizes, and free children's books are provided at every meeting.
