As one of the youngest artists to receive a coveted Residency Commission from The Jazz Gallery and endorsements from Pitchfork and NPR, Joel Ross has emerged as a jazz powerhouse. In a whirlwind of mallets and talent, witness this emerging jazz phenomenon in The JAI, the cabaret space at The Conrad, as he layers his arrangement with a lush sound inspired by the music scenes of his native home, Chicago. Nicknamed “a maestro of the vibraphone,” Joel Ross has become a defining presence in today’s jazz world.
