Horses are provided during camps. We also have helmets and boots available!

WHAT: We Ride of course! But we also learn how to water, clean, feed, and take care of horses. We learn about horses, tack, and care, but we also learn how to catch, halter, groom, saddle and handle the horses. Depending on time of year we might be indoor, outdoor or even on our Obstacle Course if the riders levels and weather permit. We have wonderful horses as teachers, who have been doing this job for collectively over 20+ Years. I am a master certified level Instructor and also a Certified Adaptive Riding Instructor. I have been teaching for over 20 years, and have been a 4-H leader for over 15 years collectively. Learning, safety and fun are the number one goals, the rest is a bonus. 

We ride Western, English and Bareback! We do some Gaming type events (barrels, poles etc...) and some Poles and raised poles/low jumps for those ready. We learn on the ground and under saddle.

FOOD: Please pack a reusable water bottle and a sack lunch. We do have a fridge AND a microwave available, but please pack things your child can do on their own. Please avoid packing excess sugar/sweets. Extra hyper kids do not learn as well, and do not benefit with the horses as well!

CLOTHING: Long pants/leggings, Smooth soled boots with a 1/2" minimum heel. Please pack clothing that can be easily moved in. Thick/heavy coats and clothing can be restrictive. In the colder months, gloves with grip work fantastic, and layers under their coat/pants. Please put hair in a low or loose hairstyle to accommodate for helmet wearing.
