Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 29 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are June through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The trail offers awe-inspiring views of a 25-foot waterfall and a 70-foot canyon, showcasing stunning vistas of the falls and the surrounding area. The terrain presents some steep grades and an undeveloped path. The park's wildlife is diverse, featuring waterfowl, mink, and herons. The trail provides enchanting views of the river and the waterfall and opportunities to swim in some of the pools near the falls.
