- **Event Description**: Each student will explore the exciting process of creating their own one-of-a-kind 12”x12” acrylic work of “Dance of the Fireflies”. No painting experience is necessary. Using varied brushes, chalk, acrylic paints (one color is glow-in-the-dark!), and string lights, students will bring to life a magical summer evening in a combination of primitive and post-Impressionist styles. Teaching Artist Cheryl guides students with step-by-step instructions that are easy to execute, and the objective of this workshop is for students to have fun, create something cool, and acquire the confidence and skills to do it again! Participants will be encouraged to “go rogue” with any aspect of their painting, using their imaginations freely. All supplies included. Please enter the ACE building through the 5th Street door.
